Stavanger Rugby Klubb (SRK) was formed in 1978 and competes in the Norwegian Rugby Union League and Tournaments. We are a club made up of both Norwegians and expats. We welcome all interested individuals and offer everyone the chance to play, coach and support our rugby.

A introduction to rugby day was held on the 24th of April, with the idea of increasing rugby's popularity in the Stavanger area. The day brought together the four clubs; Berserke RK, ISS, Revheim RK and SRK. It was a beautiful sunny day although a little nippy with plenty of rugby being played. The event was a great success and will become a biannual event.

SRK as Norgesmestere were invited on New Year's Day to meet the mayor of Stavanger for a buffet and champagne. Six of us went along. A full list of all the Stavanger based NM athletes is given in the Aftenbladet.
SRK has been invited to Moscow for the European 7s Club Champions Trophy 2010 on the 25/06 to 28/06. This is a great opportunity for us with a lot of good competition from all over Europe.
